What are the differences between two dimensional image measuring instrument and projector?

We know that the two-dimensional image measuring instrument is a kind of precision measuring instrument, which is widely used in the industrial field. The origin of the two-dimensional image is based on the development of the projector. At the same time, the two-dimensional image measuring instrument is obviously different from the projector.

The differences between imager and projector are mainly divided into the following aspects:

  1、It works differently

Image measuring instrument is a precision instrument which obtains digital image through CCD and uses computer software operation to meet the needs of complex measurement.

Projector is a kind of measuring instrument which projects the outline or surface of the measured work onto the observation screen (projection screen) by using the principle of optical projection

  2、The machine structure is different

Two dimensional image measuring instrument: Granite (high hardness, strong stability and accuracy)

Projector: sheet metal (affected by the environment, easy to deform, easy to rust, etc., affecting the accuracy)

  3、camera lens

Two dimensional imager: lens, continuous zoom lens / automatic zoom lens (30x-230x)

Projector: standard single zoom objective (fixed magnification)

  4、light source

Image measuring instrument: LED (cold light source)

Projector: halogen light (thermal light source, short service life; thermal expansion principle affects the accuracy of the machine)

From the following aspects, we can see that the two-dimensional image measuring instrument has been improved compared with the projector in many aspects, which also determines that the two-dimensional image measuring instrument has powerful functions compared with the projector in functional application, which is also the reason why the two-dimensional image measuring instrument can be widely used.
